C & J

 C. & J.

Summer 2020 has 2 things in common.

Everybody knows both of them.

What are they?

                                                                                                                                                                                 @jamescott887

Just guess...

C. & J.

... Any idea?

...

Yes, you are right.

...

The 2 things are:

CORONAVIRUS  &  JERUSALEMA

They are the two sides of the same coin,

called "SUMMER '20":

- the negative side: CORONAVIRUS (meaning 'pandemia')

&

- the positive side: JERUSALEMA, (meaning 'hope')

                                                                                                                                            Official Video "Jerusalema"

Let's pay attention to the positive JERUSALEMA,

the song of the summer 2020,

a song of HOPE.

Have you heard it?

If not, have a look at the official video of it:

Jerusalema is a song by South-African DJ and singer Master KG.,
created in the spring of 2019 and months later the song went viral.
The success of the song is enormous nowadays.

Not only the music video for the song has been viewed
more than 72 millions times on YouTube,
but also been danced by people from countries all ove the world.

So, if you llike dancing,
you can even learn how to dance it
and participate in the challenge...

Have a look and practice at home in your free time,
after your classes !!
;-)

So, if Master KG can get success
with the help of Nomcebo Zikode,
You can achieve your goals
with the help of your teachers.

Remember the original lyrics of the song
in "venda" (an African language)...

"uhambe nami"

( "Come with me", in English )
( "Acompáñame", in Spanish)

                                                                                   Have a nice school-year 2020/21
                                                                                    &
                                                                                     Good luck !!

... IN THE DEEP ?

" ... IN THE DEEP ?"

The title of this post has nothing to do with coronavirus,

On this post of "English@Edrissis"
we are glad to share a Project about this song
"Rolling in the Deep",
carried out by one of our Students:

SIRALL ABDEL-LAH CHOUATI,

a 18-year-old student of English
in Secondary Education for Adults
(March, 2020).

It is an excellent example
of a Good Educative Practice
in our English Classroom
at CEPA "Edrissis", Ceuta (Spain).

On his own  words,
this piece of work fulfills all the objectives foreseen
in the development of this task-based project:

"Resulta interesante trabajar la lengua inglesa
haciendo uso  de la música y teniendo que elaborar un proyecto
utilizando el ordenador a través de búsquedas guiadas en Internet.

En definitiva, es una manera diferente de trabajar,
que nos acerca a algo que nos gusta a todos
y con lo que convivimos cada día, la música."

                                                            Sirall

As an example of the combination of the use of MUSIC in ENGLISH
and the different selected tools on INTERNET, this is the final product...
The Project "ROLLING IN THE DEEP" by Sirall...

Hope you like it!
