A Classic Song...

MERRY
CHRISTMAS

I'm sure you have ever heard this song...

It is a Classic Song at Christmas Time:
"White Christmas", by Bing Crosby...

WHITE CHRISTMAS
by Bing Crosby

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow .

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

According to the Free Encyclopedia Wikipedia...
The Christmas tree is a decorated tree, real or artificial, and a tradition associated with the celebration of Christmas. The Christmas tree is traditionally brought into the home and decorated with Christmas lights and ornaments during the days around Christmas.

By the way,...Do you know a Traditional Christmas Song with such a title?
Here you are an instrumental version of that song performed by Kenny G.

MERRY
CHRISTMAS

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat.
Please put a penny in the old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do.
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God bless you
.

(English traditional Christmas rhyme)

My students want to learn and practise some Classic Christmas Carols
during the last session before our Christmas Holidays.

Perhaps, two of the most well-known Christmas Carols are:
"We Wish You a Merry Christmas"  &  "Jingle Bells".

Let's practice !

      MERRY
CHRISTMAS
"At Christmas, all roads lead home."
Marjorie Holmes (American writer)

Yes, ... Christmas is coming ... and
"All I want for Christmas is You"

Listen to the following song,
Mariah Carey's Christmas Classic,
performed by "Vazquez Sounds":

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas
Is you

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You baby

I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
You

All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me                             the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me

Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is
You

All I for Christmas is you baby

* Compare the previous version of the song with the one performed By Mariah Carey & Justin Bieber.

At Christmas Time many people come back home...
And that is the case of the British ship "HMS Ocean", of the Royal Navy.

The ship's company made a Christmas DVD when they heard they would be home for Christmas. They performed "All I want for Christmas is You" as they go back home with friends and family.

The video is simply a Royal Navy tribute to Mariah Carey's Christmas Classic...

I hope you like it!

To all those who come back home at Chritmas Time...
...Welcome home!!
