SHADOWS

SHADOWS
                                                                                                (Picture: Leer.es)

Sometimes SHADOWS make us think.

To illustrate that idea...
Watch the following video
from a TV program called "Britain's Got Talent 2013",
performed by ATTRACTION
(a Shadow Dance Group).

Use this LINK.

***

ATTRACTION are nine shadow dancers from Hungary,
who tell stories through the movement of their bodies.

On the previous video,
They perform an emotional love story,
in which the song and the story goes along with the shadows.

It is amazing how just music and bodies can tell a story
that inspires, moves and touches our hearts.

What do you think about the video?

In my opinion,
Creativity has no limits.
The video is absolutely fantastic!
Great performance...
talented and original!

THE STORY...

The story covers different aspects of human life:
BIRTH,  DEATH,  MARRIAGE  and  LOVE / ROMANCE.
Could you put them in chronological order?
(according to the video)

1st: _____       2nd: _____       3rd: _____       4th: _____

THE MUSIC...

The beautiful song "Read all about it",
by Emeli Sande,
plays the music on that wonderful performance.

Could you put lhe lines from the Chorus of the song
 into the correct order?

a.) read all about it
b.) they can read all about it
c.) I'm not afraid
d.) so put it in all of the papers
e.) I wanna scream till the words dry out
f.) I wanna sing, I wanna shout

(My) Old Days

(MY) OLD DAYS

                                              Photo published at "la informacion.com"

Probably one of the songs that comes first to my mind,
thinking about the music I liked most during "My Old Days",
 is ...
... "Voulez-Vous", by ABBA.

Do you know it?
Have you ever heard that song?
I'm sure you have!

At that time, during "My Old Days",
I ignored the meaning of the song"Voulez-Vous"(1979), by ABBA. .
Nowadays, you can easily check the meaning of the LYRICS.

**

Today, I have read on a post published by the journalist Borja Terán
remembering that they disappeared 30 years ago.
In my opinion, they started a new era in Music.

ABBA was a Swedish pop music group very successful in the 1970s and early 1980s.
The name "ABBA" is made from the first letter of each member's first name...
Find them at Wikipedia:
  • A__________
  • B__________

  • A__________
ABBA became very popular after they won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974. They had many hits, including "Dancing Queen", "SOS", "Chiquitita", "Mamma Mia", and "Waterloo".
They broke up in 1982, but their music is still very popular.

You can watch a selection of some of their best 15 songs
on the mentioned publication on lainformación.com.
I hope you enjoy them!!
